Located 4150 feet above sea level and 780 miles from Buenos Aires, on the northern extreme of a large valley at the foothill of the Sierras de Zapla, Jujuy is built on a rugged terrain, on the banks of Rivers Xibi and Grande, with a few colonial buildings and thermal mineralized waters.
