Nestled in the dunes, northwest from Fortaleza is the fishing community of Jericoacoara, a quiet and nice town. Small inns and restaurants are owned by native families. There you find towering sand dunes, deserted beaches, cactus-covered cliffs, interesting rock formations in a pleasant atmosphere.
